We built a new home in 2004 and chose to heat it with floor-radiant heat. We knew that in Colorado a humidity source was important in the winter but did not account for one in the building process. We soon found our humidity levels hovering around 10% in the winter months. We came across Humidifall, and after lots of help from Jim Wilson we determined that we needed an oversize unit due to square footage and ceiling heights in our home.

We decided we needed more evaporation space and settled on a unit 36'' x 72''. It arrived and was installed in January of 2006. It took a couple of weeks for the Humidifall to bring the humidity level up from the 10% we were experiencing, but once we re-humidified our home, we have maintained levels between 30% and 40% throughout the winter. We are healthier, more comfortable, and can keep our thermostats set a couple of degrees lower and our furniture is much happier.
