Q. How does the Humidifall humidify my home?
A. Each fully automatic indoor waterfall is connected to a water supply and an electrical outlet. When the indoor air becomes too dry, the unit turns on and pumps warm water over a beautifully crafted, decorative backdrop panel. The cooler, drier air gravitates toward the large surface of the waterfall where it is warmed, moistened and circulated back into the surrounding room.
For added convenience, a multi-functional digital screen control panel allows for complete control of recessed lights, water flow, humidity setting, outdoor temperature reading, and maintenance reminders.
Q. Do you make custom waterfalls?
A. Yes, we can customize any indoor waterfall to meet your wishes. Please contact us to get started on your own custom design.
Q. Does Humidifall provide a warranty?
A. Yes, our indoor waterfalls are backed by a limited one-year product warranty. Pumps have up to a five-year warranty. To view a copy of our warranty statement, click here.
Q. How quiet is the pump?
A. The gentle sound of flowing water shouldn’t have to compete with the hum of an electrical pump. That’s why Humidifall uses only the highest-quality pumps to ensure dependable, whisper-quiet operation. Two different pump models are available, with flow rates ranging from 1600 gph to 2600 gph. Each is backed by a five-year warranty.
Q. Do I need to have any special water treatments?
A. No, unlike other manufactured waterfalls, there is no need to add an expensive Reverse Osmosis system, distilled water, soft water treatment system or other expensive add-in chemicals.
Q. Do I have to worry about splashing water?
A. No, that’s never a problem. Humidifall indoor waterfalls feature a splash-free design that directs and contains the water flow.
Q. How long will a Humidifall indoor waterfall last?
A. Each waterfall is expertly constructed of high-quality components to ensure decades of use in the building or home in which it is installed.
Q. How does a Humidifall waterfall clean itself?
A. Each Humidifall has a built-in cleaning cycle. Once every 24 hours, the Humidifall turns its waterfall flow off and allows all the water to return to the reservoir. The water in the reservoir is then heated to a 140 degree temperature to reduce harmful bacterial growth. The hot water is then auto-flushed down the drain and is replaced by clean, fresh, filtered cold water. The whole cycle takes only 20 minutes and can be programmed using the Humidifall control panel.
The Humidifall self-cleaning cycle eliminates the need to add expensive water treatment chemicals to keep the waterfall clean and free of algae, mold, viruses and harmful bacteria.
